Is FolderNook free?
Yes. Every PDF tool is free to use as often as you like, with no watermark on your files. We are supported by ads, which we keep away from the tools themselves.
Are my files uploaded?
No. All the work happens in your browser on your own device, using open-source PDF libraries that load with the page. Your files are never sent to us or anyone else, and nothing is stored.
Can you convert PDF to Word?
Not yet. Converting a PDF faithfully into an editable Word document isn't possible inside a browser without uploading the file to a server, which goes against how this site works. To copy the words out, use PDF to text.
